On this page you’ll find a few simple breathwork techniques to get your practice started. These are suitable for beginners as well as more advanced practitioners. I suggest you choose one technique and practice it everyday for a week for five minutes, then move onto the next technique and repeat.
The wonderful thing about breathwork is it’s simple, and it’s intuitive. As soon as you carve out the time to make this part of your daily life, it just gets easier and easier, and you’ll likely find you’re feeling better and better each time you practice.
That said, there are a few contraindications for breathwork and breathwork should not be practiced if you suffer from any of the following:

Cardiovascular problems
High blood pressure
Vision problems affecting the retina
Any recent physical injuries or surgeries.
It is also not recommended for people who experience severe psychiatric symptoms or seizures or who take heavy medication
